Community Energy Manifesto

Currently, 99% of the country’s electricity is generated by just six companies. The new Community Energy Coalition, which The Co-operative Group, The National Trust, The National Federation of Women’s Institutes, The Church of England, and the Low Carbon Communities Network (our link in) wants to start a revolution with communities at its heart which will drive a clean, affordable and secure energy system. A Community Energy Manifesto is under development (early Sept.) for a launch in the near future – watch this space.
